InterContinental Shenzhen is built with the standard of platinum five-star under the OCT Hotels Group and already soft opened on December 26th. Built on the original site of Shenzhen Bay Hotel, with an area of 60 thousand square meters, and RMB 700 million investment of nearly 110 thousand square meters in construction space, the hotel has 549 rooms , Chinese and Western cuisine restaurants, entertainment facilities, and over 2000 square meters of natural ecological real sand beach. The hotel also has a ballroom of over 1500 square meters as well as 9 function/meeting rooms. With a Spanish theme, utilizing the characteristics of “water” and “ships”, the facade depicts a full-mast galleon setting out towards the Shennan Road.
